Carl Anderson Conferring with Student Writers and its Role in Assessment Grades K-8 May 17, 2008
Carl has just finished a new firsthand series for Heinemann. He will spend the day helping us understand the importance and techniques of conferring. Carl will also address conferring concepts, the teacher's role in a writing conference and managing conferring in the classroom. He will conclude by showing our audience how to look at students’ writing and discuss the most effective way of conferring based on this assessment.
